• $10.00 refundable class reservation fee

• Fully refunded when you attend the class, - OR -

• DONATION: If you prefer, you can donate your fee to support our community programs

• Cancellations made within 48 hours (2 days) of the class will not be refunded

Why the Fee?

In the past, no-shows have prevented others from attending our limited-capacity events. This reservation policy ensures that those who sign up are serious about participating, and it helps us run fair, organized, and high-quality sessions for everyone.

Participant Disclaimer

By registering, I confirm that I am physically able to participate in light to moderate activity for a 120-minute beginner pickleball session. I understand breaks will be provided as needed, and I am encouraged to bring water or a sports drink to stay hydrated. A small snack or sandwich is also recommended for break periods.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Paddles Together – Kankakee County Pickleball

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the free pickleball instructional programs offered by Paddles Together – Kankakee County Pickleball (the "Program Provider"), I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that participation in pickleball activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, physical exertion, contact with equipment or other participants, and potential exposure to adverse weather or playing conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation in the programs.

Waiver and Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Paddles Together – Kankakee County Pickleball and its volunteers, instructors, organizers, sponsors, and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages arising from or related to participation in the programs, including but not limited to any bodily injury, property damage, illness, or death, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

Medical Authorization
I authorize the Program Provider and its representatives to seek emergency medical care for me if deemed necessary. I accept full responsibility for any resulting medical expenses.

Compliance with Program Rules
I agree to follow all rules, instructions, and safety guidelines issued by the Program Provider and understand that failure to do so may result in removal from the program.

Severability
If any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

Media Release

Permission for my photo and/or video to be taken during the program which can be posted on social media accounts, materials, and media/press releases.
